Chickpea patties with avocado dip

Lovely tender and tasty chickpea patties are here! They get a lovely chewing resistance and crunch thanks to the sunflower seeds that are mixed in. To this you serve avocado cream, boiled wheat and a fresh salad. We wish you a tasty meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 port wheat
  • 1 packet of cooked chickpeas (each 380 g)
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1/2 pot of oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 krm pepper
  • 1 dl breadcrumbs
  • 1 pack of corn kernels (each 150 g)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 crm cayenne pepper
  • 2 dl light crème fraiche
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 lime
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 250 g tomato mix
  • 1 pot of salad

    Steaks: Pour the chickpeas into a colander, rinse them in cold water and drain.

    Peel and chop the onion.

    Coarsely chop the oregano.

    Mix chickpeas, onion, oregano, eggs, sunflower seeds, cumin, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs in a food processor.

    Drain the corn and fold it into the chickpea mixture.

    Avocado Dip: Split and core the avocados.

    Scoop out the avocado flesh and mix with cayenne pepper and crème fraiche.

    Season with pressed garlic, salt, pepper and lime juice.

    Salad: Peel the onion, slice it and divide the tomatoes.

    Pick the salad into pieces.

    Patties: Form 8 patties from the chickpea mixture (for 4 portions) and fry them in the oil in a frying pan for about 8 minutes, turning occasionally.

    Serve the steaks with avocado dip, wheat and salad.
